Scouting

Jeff is the current Committee Chair for Pack 922 Cub Scout pack, which is chartered through the Orange Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. Jeff, along with his wife, became the Tiger Cub Den Leader during the 2010-2011 school year. He then became Cubmaster in 2011, and continues to work hard on bringing new life into scouting again. Of course, he could not have accomplished this by himself. Without the help and dedication of other parents, Pack 922 wouldn’t be the very strong, fun, and educational Pack that it is. Jeff, along with the Pack families, continue to work on expanding the scouting program in areas where scouting was shrinking. Jeff has completed and earned his Wood Badge award, which is the highest ranking adult leader training available through the Boys Scouts of America, for course N2-72-11-1. This course has taught Jeff so many things and has helped with promoting scouting in and out of town. He believes scouting for the youth and adult leaders is very important. It has already been a very rewarding journey and he looks forward to more scouting experiences and adventures in the future, as well as witnessing the advancement of Scouts from year to year. In 2013, Jeff was asked to join the N2-72-14 Wood Badge course as a Troop Guide to help train those attending the 2014 Wood Badge class. In 2016, Jeff was asked to join the N2-72-16 Wood Badge course as a Scribe.
